You'll dive into fun, interactive activities, learn simple pond/stream critter identification, and explore ways to gently and respectfully interact with aquatic animals. We'll share tried-and-true resources for how to inexpensively acquire equipment (dipping nets, observation tubs, etc).

ABOUT THE PRESENTER


Laura Rogers has been a naturalist for about 25 years, and has worked with various school-aged children along the way. She is currently working on her early childhood education certificate, and enjoys gardening and hiking along the many gorgeous nature trails near her home. She lives in Okemos MI with her husband, two cats and corn snake.
