Nature is everywhere: OUtdoor learning in every setting

Opportunities to explore nature-based learning in different settings and natural spaces offered seasonally

Nature-Based learning does not require vast wilderness of deep forests to be authentic and intentional. In this seasonal series we will highlight educators and programs offering nature-based learning in different settings across the world. Guest presenters will share stories of their programs, how they navigate and mitigate the challenges faced by their unique environment, and offer tools and ideas to help you start your nature-based learning journey in a similar setting.

Over the course of the series, we will explore programs in metropolitan areas, farm-based programs, programs hosted in local parks, and more. After offering an overview of their program and what they learned, presenters will stick around for Q&A. So, come prepared with questions!

To kick off our series, we will hear from Jasmin Field, of A Hint of Jasmin, and the creation, design, and success of her Outdoor Neighborhood Classroom of Edgewood, MD.
